BURSARIES

PhD students, precariously employed or participants in financially insecure positions, who are presenting at the meeting, can apply for bursaries.

Bursaries of approximately 250 Euro each are awarded at the discretion of the treasurer, and the budget for bursaries is limited, so please enquire early.

Preference is given to:

  • student members who have not been awarded a bursary before,

  • presenters of papers with a strong history of medicine element.

Eligibility:

  1. the applicant must have no other access to institutional funds

  2. students must be registered for a higher degree in an appropriate subject at a university or institute of higher education,

  3. the applicant must be a member of the EAHMH.

How to apply for a bursary?

a.  Requests for bursaries should be submitted prior to the conference to the treasurer Nils Hansson. Please enquire early.

b.   Applicants should send or e-mail the treasurer the conference bursary application, available from this link. Please download a copy of the document. Student applicants should ask their supervisor to contact the treasurer confirming their student status and that the applicant would benefit from attending the EAHMH Oslo conference.
